Today she was a little sad and nervous going in, but said she had a great time once she got in her classroom and made another new friend!
I know it is cliche, but I just can't believe my little girl is so stinking big. And sassy! She is going to love kindergarten, it is me and the little dude who are having a hard time! I managed to hold it together until we were walking home and he said "But but, we can't LEAVE her!" and I burst into tears. My sweet boy counts the seconds till his sister gets home!
This last one is blurry and I don't care!! :)
Oh, what a bittersweet moment. I'm sending my daughter to junior high and it's just about breaking my heart. Two of her brothers have already been through junior high, but somehow it's much more difficult sending her....
ReplyDeleteI love your shots of this milestone day. So cute. The one of her blowing you a kiss is precious!
Oh my gosh, I am just about to swell up in tears. These pictures are brilliant and how wonderful that you journaled your son's response. When my dd started school, my son had to have a backpack as well and would stand out and wait and watch for the bus with her.
ReplyDeleteI love these! Her attitude just shines through, and I love the kiss blown at you--what a gift for you!!! My DD just sent her first (MY first DGD) off to kindergarten this week...it was harder on her than she thought it would be!
ReplyDeleteAwww what sweet captures! What great photos to capture the milestone!
ReplyDeleteThat is one excited little girl! What an important day for her, and you:)
ReplyDeleteWow, she's all grown! Starting school, with her own backpack and everything!
ReplyDeleteAnd your pictures are wonderful, as usual. Everybody can take a picture, but you actually capture the moment. I can tell she's proud of herself and excited.
Oh what a stylin' cutie!
