Fall = Comfort Food

My brother and new sister in law are coming over for dinner tonight and I am surprising them with their wedding album. It is foggy, cold and rainy, so I decided to make some homemade chicken noodle soup (my grandma's recipe). It is the perfect day for it!

    Look super yummy. I was feeling cold and damp here too and felt some comfort food was in order. DS is visiting for the week end so I made a nice beef roast. ~Jackie

    This is too funny...I also made chicken soup from scratch this afternoon, and my counter looked just like your shots. Only I wasn't creative enough to think of taking photos. Yours are fabulous! Great and unique idea. ML

    MMMM... homemade chicken soup sounds absolutely HEAVENLY right about now! I am SO cold and I just can't seem to get the chill off... I am sure some of your grandma's recipe soup would do the trick! *wink wink*
